The development of our wheelchair models from the ideas through the first draft to production takes place entirely in-house.

We only use EN AW 7020-T6, a high-strength aluminum alloy from the AlZnMg group (AIZn4.5Mg1) from the 7xxx series with a 4 to 5% zinc and 1.0 to 1.4% magnesium content. With a strength of 350 to 600 N / mm², it is the strongest still weldable aluminum alloy. This alloy is used worldwide in aircraft construction, motorcycle frames, armored vehicles, bridge construction, race cars, high-performance sports equipment.

The Genion is a custom-made rigid-frame wheelchair in dual frame geometry (closed frame). Thanks to our permanently welded frame construction and the high-strength aluminum alloy, the Genion is a very stable and durable wheelchair with optimal driving characteristics.

When building a wheelchair frame, the goal is to optimize the ratio of rigidity to weight.

Because of its design it will not only be adapted to your needs, but you can also determine how it will look like: From the frame shape to tube diameter, welded or fold down backrest, color of the frame and upholstery stitching.

Due to the large selection, you create a companion that not only meets your physical needs, but also fully corresponds to your visual imagination.

With the reinforced version of the Genion, we offer an option for very active wheelchair users. Its enormous stability results from a 35 mm tube for stabilizing the frame.

The Genion Ultra Lite was originally developed for lightweight users weighing up to 70 kg.

It is produced exclusively from 22 mm aluminum tubes, with the tube for stabilizing the frame being 25 mm. This means that a total weight can be made completely ready to drive from approximately 5.5 kg.
