We created a family of products with an approach based on the Science of Seating. Every cushion was developed with high-end, quality materials and superior cover design.
There was a lot of thought put into the Axiom seating line.
It didn’t just happen, we designed it this way.
PRECONTOURED SHAPE
It is important for all cushions to have a correctly designed shape. That is why we cooperated with Georgia Tech to study anthropometrics. The result: a design with the best possible cushion shapes to fit a wide range of sizes and needs.
HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS
We chose to use best materials in our foam and fluid components. Axiom cushions are made from polyurethane foam that has a high IFD (Indentation force-deflection) and density, and our fluid is lightweight and non-temperature sensitive. Both elements lead to a long-lasting, comfortable and functional product.
SUPERIOR DESIGN
You will see a consistent look and feel from all our seating products. The cushion cover has a sleek, minimalist look with a lot of features like: zipper with a stowing away pocket, water resistant zippers and high quality fabrics. The outer fabric is a 4-way stretch material, water-resistant top layer with a skid-resistant bottom panel, and high denier side panels. All elements of the material lead to a long-lasting, comfortable and functional product.
The unique hexagonal foam shapes reduce surface tension, increase envelopment around Ischial Tuberosities (seat bone) and coccyx and allow better force distribution.
Axiom G has a mild pre-contoured shape that provides good support and stability.

Axiom P offers design elements with an emphasis on medial and lateral stability. Its moderate pre-contoured shape provides superior positioning and stability.

Axiom S offers design elements with an emphasis on immersion and envelopment. Its pre-contoured shape allows the protection of Ischial Tuberosities (seat bone) and coccyx by redistributing the load. Deeper hexagonal shape allows increased immersion with better envelopment.
Axiom SP Visco is designed to provide increased immersion, using a Viscoelastic Foam. Viscoelastic material is both viscous (changes shape slowly) and elastic (it returns to its original shape). Because energy is effectively absorbed and dissipated there is less reaction force pushing back.
Axiom SP Visco is designed to provide increased immersion. This improves stability by widening the base of support and reduces the load on the tissue that supports the Ischial Tuberosities (seat bone) and coccyx. The dual density polyurethane foam base offers firm support in the lower layer and with a durable comfort layer on top. The outer fabric features a microclimatic fabric layer.
Axiom SP Fluid is designed to provide increased immersion, using a Hydrolite fluid. The fluid is positioned directly under the super stretch outer fabric, allowing it to adapt to the tissues supporting the Ischial Tuberosities (seat bone) and coccyx.
Hydrolite is a non-Newtonian fluid that behaves as a solid under the force of gravity but flows as a viscous fluid under load. Hydrolite fluid is also incredibly light and is less temperature sensitive than other fluids, meaning it will provide more consistent performance regardless of climate. The dual density polyurethane foam base offers firm support in the lower layer and with a durable comfort layer on top.
